B.S. in Aerospace Engineering (2025) – Texas A&M University
Ian Voland is a graduate student at Texas A&M University pursuing a Master of Engineering in Aerospace Engineering. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Texas A&M, where he conducted research at the Advanced Vertical Flight Laboratory on autonomous vehicle systems. His technical expertise includes structural engineering, structural dynamics, finite element modeling in ABAQUS, experimental impact testing, data acquisition systems, and verification and validation methodologies. His experience spans electric motor research, launch vehicle structural engineering, and developing systems for propulsion systems fluid control. His work integrates simulation and hands-on experimentation to improve structural performance, impact protection, and system reliability across both aerospace and applied biomechanics domains.
