B.S. in Aerospace Engineering (2024) – Texas A&M University
Manuel De Los Santos III is a graduate student in the Department of Aerospace Engineering at Texas A&M University. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M and is currently conducting research in the MAESTRO Lab under Dr. Darren Hartl. Manuel’s work focuses on morphing structures and developing computational methods to optimize configurations for morphing aircraft. His research interests include solid mechanics, adaptive aerospace structures, and advanced composite materials. Prior to joining the MAESTRO Lab, he contributed to research on passively reactive composite plates during an internship at the University of Bristol with Dr. Alberto Pirrera. Manuel aspires to work as a structural engineer in the space industry, advancing the design and performance of aerospace structures for future exploration.
