This research effort uses self-folding origami design concepts to develop fold patterns for a parabolic reflector that also allow for geometric reconfiguration of the parabolic shape. These orgimai-inspired design concepts are used to develop orbital antenna structural configuration capable of both self-deployment and reconfigurable directivity/gain associated with different geographical regions.
