Anna Burger

B.S. in Mechanical Engineering (2022) – University of Notre Dame

Anna Burger is a graduate student in the Department of Aerospace Engineering at Texas A&M University. She graduated with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame in 2022. As an undergraduate, Anna was a four year member of the Notre Dame Rocketry Team, including serving as its Technical Editor during her senior year. During this time, NDRT placed second in the NASA Student Launch Initiative, its highest up to that point. She also was a member of the Engineering Leadership Council. Anna is a Test Engineer in the Hypersonics Ground Test Team at Arnold Air Force Base where she works with testing hypersonic systems at true flight environments. She will return to Arnold after completing her Master’s degree. Anna’s work with the MAESTRO lab is part of the GoSwift project, working to develop an optimized morphing structure as part of a larger effort to mitigate acoustic impacts from overland supersonic flight.
