B.S. in Aerospace Engineering (2023) – Texas A&M University

James Kan is an Aerospace Engineering student from Cypress, Texas. His first foray into research was with NASA ULI, where he worked in an AggiE_Challenge team on the viability of a morphing fuselage design with the application of shape memory alloys. During the summer of 2021, he developed and 3D printed components of a flight simulator for the Texas Air National Guard, and has been a member of the Texas A&M SAE AERO Design Team.

Outside of M²AESTRO, James is the pianist and accompanist for Ingeniare, Texas A&M’s engineering chorus.
