B.S. in Mechanical Engineering (2017) – Texas A&M University

Leo Wood is a mechanical engineering major minoring in electrical engineering from Austin, Texas. His designs and work in bistable origami mechanisms with torsional SMA wire actuation have been the subject of a conference paper and presentation at the IDETC and SMASIS conferences. His research interests include mechanisms, nonlinear systems, solid mechanics, and robotics.
