B.S. in Aerospace Engineering (2018) – Texas A&M University

Minors in Electrical Engineering and Mathematics.

Marcela is a Senior Aerospace engineer originally from Mexico. She has a passion for learning new things and implementing her knowledge to the research she does. She hopes to continue her education by pursuing a Masters Degree in Aerospace Engineering. Marcela is a member of the Engineering Honor Society, Tau Beta Pi, and some of her hobbies include playing tennis and running.

Marcela’s work in M²AESTRO focuses on material characterization primarily of shape memory alloys, as well as other composite materials. She is an active participant in the Avian team and she is also taken part in the BRI collaboration.

Marcela graduated in 2018 and is now pursuing an MSc degree at the University of Colorado Boulder.
