B.S. in Aerospace Engineering (2021) – Texas A&M Univerisity
Mitchell Mu is a Sophomore Aerospace Engineering student from New York, New York. He has assisted in the study of Avian Inspired Morphing Wings, bridging the gap between experiments and modeling via material characterization, and constructing SMA knitting machine to create custom SMA embedded fabrics and custom fit effectors. His current focus is assisting with the Slat Cove Filler project and updating the wind tunnel to acquire more accurate acoustics data. He has earned his Private Pilot’s Certificate at the Texas Flying Club and is also an active member in the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics and the Engineering Honors Program.
